Getting through

With the change in the weather and my small issues with depression, I have had a hard time this week keeping on track with everything. The laundry, dish, cleaning, writing and working out have all been put on the back burner. It’s just been Ethan and I sleeping and cuddling for 2 days hiding away from the world until Joel came home.

But today that changed. I told myself this morning I wasn’t going to let myself get down for no reason. I got off my butt and did a quick workout, cleaned and started laundry. By 1 o’clock, I was exhausted and it didn’t stop there. When Joel got home we had dinner, loaded up Ethan in his stroller, and went for a 3.5 mile walk/run. It felt amazing. I’m so thankful to have my wonderful husband who loves me and supports my needs. If it wasn’t for him helping me tonight, I wouldn’t have succeeded.

Today was a major accomplishment for me when I checked my workouts and calories on my fitbit app. All of my goals were green!!! I couldn’t been more proud of my self.
